Review:
“Ignored Violence is a book of short stories about a topic that hides under the beds of the best families, behind the doors of the most picturesque country houses, in all the familiar neighborhoods with names like El Paraíso, in every family police station and on every corner of this beautiful state. Based on conversations and real and gruesome events, these stories tell us about the different forms of gender violence that never cease to occur - femicides, physical violence, psychological and economic violence - and the role that each one of us plays in this. With psychological depth, with rage, with irony, with tenderness, with a variety of forms of experimentation in language, Liliana Mariño immerses us in these stories that aim to not leave us intact, making us uncomfortable and sowing new questions that urge us to take a stand. Another world has to be possible...” - Juliana Borrero Author of Las Extraterrestes
